You can use the dual-search bar to search by job title, keyword, location or even MOS/military job code. Start with the job type like “nursing” and then narrow your search by city and state using the location filters.

If you experience issues, please email recruitment@mercy.com with the requisition number and a description of the need. Our Talent Acquisition team can assist and help identify possible fraudulent postings or visit our Fraud Alert page.

This may occur if duplicate applications exist or if an updated job posting replaces the original. Contact recruitment@mercy.com with the requisition number so our team can review and restore your application, when appropriate.

Log-in to your candidate home account from our career site and navigate to the Manage Applications tab to view your status. You’ll need to create an account if you have not already done so.

Applications are typically reviewed within 48 hours of submission. You’ll receive updates by email, phone call or text. You can also monitor your progress in your candidate home account.

Log-in to your candidate home account from the career site, go to My Tasks, and complete the electronic offer acceptance steps. You may be asked to provide identifying information such as your Social Security number and date of birth as part of pre-boarding.

Timelines vary, but the process typically ranges from a few days to a few weeks. Steps may include application review, screening, interviews, offer, acceptance, pre-boarding, credentialing and completion of required tasks. 

Hiring process

Benefit details are supported by Associate Services, with most benefits beginning based on your employment classification and start date. Associate Services can provide personalized guidance. 

Remote roles typically require you to live within the continental United States, and some may require residence within the market they support. Requirements will be noted in the job description.

Some positions may offer sign-on incentives or relocation assistance. These will be clearly noted in the job description, when applicable, though not all incentives are listed in every posting.

Each job posting includes details such as facility name and address. You can also use location filters on the Browse Jobs page to narrow results by facility or region.

Review the Required vs. Preferred qualifications in the job description to understand the minimum standards for the role. Some jobs require specific certifications or licensure.

If a role requires licensure or certification, it will be listed under Required Qualifications in the job description.

You must have a Nursing Diploma or Degree, an active RN license in the state of employment (or a multistate license if residing in a compact state) and in some cases BLS or specialty certifications.

Available specialties may include Emergency Department, Critical Care/ICU, Medical–Surgical, Labor & Delivery, Operating Room, Step-Down, Procedural Areas and Case Management.

Float Pool nurses typically work across multiple units depending on their experience. Common float areas include Emergency Department, ICU, Labor & Delivery, Step-Down and Medical–Surgical. Experience requirements may vary by market.

Our Travel Nurse Program supports nurses who want to work across various acute care settings system-wide, gaining experience in specialties such as ICU, ED, Med–Surg, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics and more.

Shift options vary and may include days, evenings, nights, weekends or PRN. Refer to the job description for details or discuss specifics with your recruiter or hiring manager.

Yes. Availability varies by department and location. Hybrid roles typically require living within 50 miles of the onsite location.

Many departments offer flexible scheduling, including part-time and PRN options, depending on unit needs. Your recruiter can share what is available for the role you’re considering.

Interviews

The process may include a screening call, interviews with leaders or peers and skills assessments depending on the role.

To prepare for your interview, we recommend: 

  • Research Bon Secours' mission and values
  • Review the job description
  • Practice common interview questions
  • Prepare questions for the interviewer
  • Dress appropriately
  • Bring necessary documents

Professional business attire is recommended; however, clean and professional scrubs are acceptable—especially if you are coming directly from a clinical role. Avoid overly casual clothing.

Interview details, including location, time and contact instructions, will be provided by your recruiter or listed in your interview confirmation email.

You are able to interview with multiple departments to decide which one is a best fit before formally accepting an offer.  

Decisions depend on qualifications, experience and department needs. If you are not selected, your recruiter can help identify other opportunities that match your skills.

In your candidate home account, go to My Documents and select Upload to add resumes, certifications and other files.

Check your spam folder and ensure your email on file is correct. Notifications typically come from EasyService. If issues persist, contact recruitment@mercy.com.

Try logging out and back into your candidate home account. If it still appears incorrect, contact recruitment@mercy.com with the requisition number.

This may be due to incorrect login credentials or an outdated email on file. If needed, contact recruitment@mercy.com or your recruiter.

Go to the candidate home login page, select Forgot your password and follow the reset instructions. If you no longer have access to the email associated with your account, create a new profile and your recruiter can merge accounts.

Log in, visit your Profile page and update your email. If you cannot access the old email, a recruiter can help with merging accounts.

Log in, go to Profile and update your personal or professional information as needed.
