Our History
Our history began in Baltimore, Maryland in 1919, when the Sisters of Bon Secours established their first hospital.

With a 150-year history, we're continually enhancing the way that health care is delivered, promoting new levels of health care safety, quality and cost effectiveness.

In 2018, Bon Secours and Mercy Health merged to become Bon Secours Mercy Health -- one of the five largest Catholic health care systems in the U.S.
