Under the leadership of the Enterprise Contact Center Management Team, the Access 360 Ambassador is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while scheduling patients, completing registration and financial clearance functions prior to the patients arrival for service.The Access 360 Ambassador will also facilitate the engagement of clinical personnel when required.The Access 360 Ambassador is responsible for collecting and validating accurate patient demographic and insurance information, scheduling the patient into applicable systems of record

Responsibilities

  • Primarily supports inquiries for: registration, general information, clinical connection and messaging
  • Acts as first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries and requests by omni-channels
  • Leverages CRM to perform front-line customer support and resolves most issues and utilizes critical thinking to determine what customer inquiries require
  • Organizes work / resources to accomplish objectives
  • Multi-tasking, effective problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, effective listening skills, good grammar and knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Proactively communicates issues or potential issues involving customer service and process improvement opportunities to your supervisor
  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others for concise and timely flow of information
  • Meets productivity requirements to ensure excellent customer service is provided to patients
  • Maintains stable performance under pressure and handles stress in ways to maintain relationships with patients and co-workers
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality as set forth by BSMH policies
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • May be required to process patient monetary requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.  College experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Solid computer knowledge and skills, including the ability to navigate complex systems and create reports when needed
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or other customer relationship management software preferred
